We should all know how I feel about it:
It is the most glorious meal of the day, but I still skip it 90% of the time.
So, here’s your chance to weigh in.
Do you eat breakfast or do you skip breakfast?
Why?

In the past month I’ve restarted experimenting with that, using LeanGains. At first I did it almost everyday, now I do it half the time. The other half is when I decide to train heavier and have more carbs in the day. Since I train first thing in the morning, so far I seem to respond well to this new strategy.
But otherwise I do like the partial fasts so far.
dude i LOVE breakfast.. and i admit i do eat something most days… but all it does it make me hungry by 10am for lunch, then i end up eating 5 meals.. the days i skip, or even sleep in.. i have much less appetite the rest of the day…
some would say that’s my bodies metabolism kicking, but i dunno. but metabolism on does so much if you eat an extra 300-500 extra calories everyday lol
Everyday. Not eating breakfast, sets up a FAIL eating day for me.
Every day! When I have clients 5/8 before class I need to cals to jumpstart my day
no. lazy. does coffee count? 😉
NAh. Like to save calories for later in the day.
If I’m totally starving, coffee + whey protein as needed.
Typically I skip. Every once in a while I’ll partake, though. Like yesterday.
Thanks for the replies everyone!
When I’m working out plenty, I’ll have it. I’ll try to skip it a lot for mini-leangains if I’m not getting to the gym enough, as it’s been lately, then have a protein shake at some point to make up for the lost grams.
I do it. It’s a nice relaxing way to start my day without any distractions – no laptop, TV, phone, or shenanigans.
Depends on what shift I’m on. And also what you’d consider breakfast. But if I’m working days, then no, not usually.
YES!!!! Breakfast is a must!!! It’s Diet/Nutrition 101. Having ANYTHING first thing in the morning, ideally within 30 minutes of waking up, is essential as it tells your body and your metabolism “it’s time to start working!”. NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST!!!

If breakfast is a “must”, “nutrition 101”, and “must never be skipped”, you may want to tell a bunch of PhD’s, industry leading researchers, and 1000’s and 1000’s of their followers that they’re wrong.
That, or get some better sources of information.
I eat breakfast, because I like to eat food and eating something seems appealing in the morning. I’m only consuming 250-300 calories though, so is that breakfast? Who knows…but it also calms my stomach for the a$$ ton of antibiotics I’m taking right now.
I have to eat breakfast in the morning or I will feel downright sick for the rest of the day.
Right now, breakfast is en vogue for me. (That’s right, I’m a classy guy. Or a wanker, whatever.)
However, if I’m going to eat breakfast, I want to do it right. “Butter Bath” friend eggs; French Toast Crumpets /w bacon and maple syrup… stuff like that.
If I can’t have a very delicious breakfast, I usually couldn’t be bothered at all. Cereal couldn’t be less attractive to me.
I’ve found myself skipping lunch more often than I usually do. My appetite has been adjusted enough that it feels pretty damn controlled without trying.
