For those of you that don’t know, EFA stands for Essential Fatty Acids. To the beginner, the word “essential” should not be used as an adjective when describing fat. Believe it or not, they may be, ounce for ounce, the most effective fat loss supplement in your arsenal (assuming the rest of your diet is on point). Not only do they trigger your body to burn more of your stored fat (that you’re trying to get rid of), but they also help increase the efficiency of of your recovery time and intracellular functions.
I have a friend that believes he may have stumbled upon the perfect ratios to achieve max efficiency. I have asked him to write a guest article about the different types of EFA’s, how the body uses them, and where they come from. I will let him divulge as much or as little information as he wants. Although, thanks to my main man Orrin Hatch for deregulating the supplement industry, I’m trying to get him to keep it hush hush until we see how much it would cost to make, market, and sell this stuff if it really works. He’s already agreed to the writing portion and was kind enough to order the oils and pills for me (but do you think he offered to pay??).
Alright, here’s where the experimentation comes in. I am going to take his concoction of EFA’s for a month, maybe longer to really give it a chance to prove its effectiveness. I am going to continue my workouts and eating habits as usual (well, not quite, but that’s tomorrow’s entry). If this works, I let him unleash this powerful information onto both of you reading this article…eventhough it already kind of is, we’re just dorky enough to have found it; if it doesn’t, well, maybe I still let him write the article about the basic information, but not about why his mixture is so wicked awesome. This should be interesting. I’m pretty excited for it, especially if it works as well as it’s supposed to. Who knows, maybe he just stumbled on to the next dieting supplement craze. Hell, maybe he could even get Billy Mays to do some informercials for it!
