I really dislike this month more than any other.

Coming out of a 5 month freeze, you want nothing more than bright, sunny, warm days.

But what you get is wet, sloppy, cloudy days that aren’t warm enough to be warm and aren’t cold enough to be cold.

That really limits the amount of things I can do outside.

Camping is a pain in the ass in these wet conditions.

If I can’t camp, I don’t really have any place to go hiking. Not to mention, there’s nothing to see this time of year. Everything is still bare and in hibernation from the winter.

It’s really hard for me to deal with dirty, muddy mountain biking gear in my 2nd floor, 1-bedroom apartment. Not to mention, I don’t have the gear to keep me comfortable while riding in 45 degrees.

Ice fishing would be smart if you wore a life jacket and didn’t mind losing some equipment if you go through.

Cross country ski trails would be horrid. Snowshoeing would be pointless.

I can’t go to the park and do a kettlebell workout.

I don’t have a week-long vacation planned.

So, how do you get your fix for the outdoors when your options are limited to just walking around the city?

Don’t Miss Your Chance

I was stuck in Corporate America for 9 years. I was miserable.

Then I took control.

You can too, and it starts right here.
